The Somat Edaq is a great platform for data acquisition hardware. There is a Thermocouple layer available for the Edaq to acquire and record multiple Thermocouple channels. In the time that I have used the Edaq, it has proven to be a versatile and adaptable instrument. I have used the Somat Edaq with pressure transducers, load cell sensors, and torque sensors. I have used it for doing engine proving tests and also horsepower and hydraulic pressure tests. I barely scratched the surface for the possibilities for this platform.
